Dr. Tonya Lindsell grew up in Indianapolis, IN where she attended Brebeuf Preparatory School. Dr. Lindsell's interest in eyecare was piqued at a young age because of her grandmother who was blind. She suffered from a rare inherited retinal disorder called Retinitis Pigmentosa and Dr. Lindsell wanted to better understand her disease.
Dr. Lindsell went on to graduate from The College of Charleston receiving her bachelor's degree in Science and Biology. She then attended the Indiana University School of Optometry and received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2003. She joined a practice in Cincinnati, OH after graduation and in 2006, fulfilled a dream of business ownership when she purchased her first practice inside Lenscrafters. Her practice is now known as Cincinnati Vision Group and has grown to five locations in the Cincinnati and Dayton, OH areas.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association, ALLdocs, and has served as zone governor for the Cincinnati area. She is actively involved in volunteer organizations including OneSight and Volunteer Optometrist Serving Humanity.

She is a very proud mother of three children; Carly, Connor, and Cooper. Her favorite hobbies are being a mom, spending time with her family, and traveling!
